During the process of operating our liveaboard tours and maintaining compliance with local maritime laws, we collect specific types of Personally Identifiable Information (PII):

• Contact Information: Names, email addresses, and WhatsApp/phone numbers provided during inquiries or the booking checkout process.
• Payment Information: Credit card details, billing addresses, and transaction identifiers. We do not store full credit card numbers on our servers; this data is processed entirely by our certified payment gateway, Stripe.
• Passenger Manifest Data: For maritime port clearance and passenger safety, we mandate the collection of Passport Numbers / ID Numbers, Nationalities, dietary restrictions, and emergency contact details for every passenger boarding our vessels.

2. How We Use and Protect Your Data

The information we collect is strictly used for the execution of our services:

• Maritime Law & Port Clearance: Your passport identifying details are securely transmitted to the Harbormaster exactly as required by Indonesian maritime regulations to grant our vessels clearance to sail.
• Service Delivery: To generate personalized E-Tickets, coordinate pickup/drop-off services, and communicate booking updates via email or WhatsApp.
• Security: All submitted manifest and booking data is securely stored on highly encrypted Google Cloud / Firebase architecture. Access is strictly limited to authorized clearing staff.

3. Third-Party Services & Payment Processors

We rely on trusted third-party providers to securely execute your bookings:

• Stripe: All financial payments are handled externally via Stripe's encrypted payment portals. Kanha Liveaboard never sees or retains your raw credit card data.
• Google Tag Manager & Analytics: We use tracking codes (cookies) via Google Tag Manager to understand aggregate visitor behavior on our site to improve the booking experience.

4. Use of Cookies and Tracking

Our website utilizes cookies to ensure core website functionality and to compile aggregate data about site traffic and interactions. These tracking pixels help us measure the success of our marketing campaigns (e.g., Google or Facebook Ads). You can choose to disable cookies through your browser settings, though it may affect the seamlessness of the booking engine.

5. Data Non-Disclosure

We value your trust. Kanha Liveaboard does not sell, trade, or otherwise externally transfer your Personally Identifiable Information (PII) to outside third parties for their marketing purposes.
